Your Strategy For Finding Career Change Ideas (wireless engineering recruiting)
No commentsBy Rosamunde Bott
The idea of staying loyal to same employer has become rather out-dated. It is no longer expected that employers stay with the same company for life and when people enter the workforce they can usually expect to change careers every five to ten years. It is acceptable for people to move on if they feel their current position is no longer satisfactory, but what if you hate your job and are short of career change ideas?
Whatever your situation, there are plenty of opportunities that you can look at. While this is a good thing, the amount of choice can seem overwhelming if you are considering starting a new career and are not sure what you want to do.
Before you begin your hunt for a new job or career, you need to have some idea of what you want to do or you could end up in another unsatisfactory situation. Take some time to consider and answer the following questions.
1. What do you enjoy doing? List all the things you love doing. Do not worry for the moment whether these things are appropriate for a career, the point of this exercise is to get to know yourself a bit more so you can have a clearer idea of what’s right for you. You might think that countryside rambling is not a career option, but perhaps your love of the outdoors could give you some ideas for careers where you spend time outside?
Also, think about the things you like about your current career. Are there elements of your job that you would miss? How can you make sure you can still do these things?
2. Next, consider the things that you are good at. With your life and work experience you will have developed various skills and learned things that could be used for a new career. Do people ask you for advice about certain things?
Some people find it difficult to think about what they are good at. If this is the case, ask your friends what they think are your good skills and qualities.
3. What do you NOT want? If you hate your current job, what is it exactly that you do not like doing, or is it the environment you work in, or the type of company? When you are considering a new career, it is important that you make sure you do not end up repeating the same kind of things. Make a list of what you do not like about what you are doing now, and this will help you determine what you do want.
4. What are your goals? What do you want to achieve in your life? What are your values and beliefs? If your job conflicts with any of these you will feel dissatisfied and resentful. Keep your integrity by working for someone you admire and making sure your career will support your personal goals and beliefs.
5. Will you need training? If the job you would like needs higher skills or qualifications than you have, do not allow this to put you off. There may be local or online training opportunities available that will help you develop the skills you need. Also, you could investigate whether the company provides in-house training.
Changing your career at any time of life is always a big decision and it can feel scary to leave the security of your current position, even if you really hate it. However, when you have a clearer idea of what you would like to do, the fear can turn to excitement.
The next step is to research the career options that you are now thinking of and find out what the reality will be of this new career. You will need to be clear about any differences in income or changes of location so that you can plan for this. Creating a new budget or plan can give you greater feelings of confidence as you work your way around any obstacles in your path.
Never allow age to stop you changing career to something satisfying and fulfilling. There are as many opportunities out there as you allow there to be! The worse thing you can do is shut your mind to opportunity in the belief that no-one will employ you. You have a life time of valuable experience and knowledge that would be beneficial to anyone. Keep an open mind and be determined to find the career that suits you.
These career change tips are designed to help you find the career change process much easier. The only thing that will stop you finding a career you love is your own belief. You deserve to be happy and fulfilled in whatever you choose to do on a daily basis, and you are the one person that can make that happen. Understand who you are and what you want, then realise that you deserve it. After that, all you need to do is take action.

But
although combining a job with educationas well as family commitmentscan be a
tough balancing act, experts say that learning always pays off in the long run.
Whether your goal is to be a medical or dental assistant, Licensed Vocational
Nurse, or pursue opportunities as a pharmacy technician or optical dispenser,
with a little advance planning and wise time management, its easy to advance
your career.
Here are
some tips from LAMedicalTraining.com for managing the challenge of attending
your local career college or nursing school while still earning an incomeand
how to make the most of your current work and school experience:
Choose a job with flexible hours:
Whether you attend classes in the daytime or evening, there are plenty of
employers who are willing to offer different shifts and schedule your working
hours around your schooling. You might want to initially work a manageable
amount of hours, and then, if you feel comfortable taking on more, ask your
employer to add on additional days or work time.
Ask
about financial aid:
Money should never be an obstacle to your success. If youre unable to meet your
educational costs, ask your college financial aid office if you qualify for
funding. Often students have several options for tuition payment. Grants and
low-interest government loans are available based on financial need.
Cut
back on expenses:
Look at your budget and trim costs wherever you can, whether they be personal
care, commuting, clothing, phone bills, entertaining and dining, or other
expenditures. Remember that you will enjoy higher earnings when you finally
receive your certificate of completion, which more than pays for your current
sacrifices. This will be sooner than you realize, since many career college
programs take only eight to 10 months to complete.
Ask
for help: Dont
sweat the detailsyour career college can help you with the day-to-day issues
that can seem overwhelming. If you need public transportation information,
carpooling contacts, or child-care referrals, the schools student services
office can provide advice. Students can even receive assistance with conflict
resolution or other personal needs.
Learn
from your current job experiences:
No matter where youre currently working, take the time to observe the way the
organization operates. This will be invaluable knowledge when it comes to
looking for your next job. Use every job interview as an opportunity to practice
your skills. Then, when youre nearing completion of your certificate, talk to
your career college job placement assistance department for help finding a job
in your chosen profession. They can help with career planning and advising,
interviewing skills, and more.
Look
for work related to your schooling:
Any experience helps when entering a new industry. If youre interested in being
a dental assistant, for example, perhaps you can get your foot in the door in an
entry-level position before you even complete your course of study.
Make
a schedule and stick to it:
Set aside time to study, time to workand time to relax. Be sure youre
well-rested so youre able to concentrate on your homework assignments and lab
work. Let your friends and families know that you need uninterrupted study
time. For more information on nursing careers, LVN to RN schools, Vocational

Make Money Online - Getting JV Partners
By Todd Lamb
Before I begin I first want to provide you a quick definition of JV. JV means joint venture partner. So if you have been hearing that word being thrown around like a hot potato you can consider yourself informed!
When you have a product to sell online, there are many different tactics you can use to help get customers. One great way is through Joint Venturing. A Joint Venture (or again, simply a JV) is when you partner with a person to help sell your product(s). While it is a great idea, it can sometimes be hard to find JVs. So here are some great ideas on how to find them.
The way you go about trying to find JVs actually depends on how competitive your niche is. If you are in a niche that is saturated (such as the Internet Marketing niche) then you will have to go about things a little differently. However, if you are in another niche that is much less competitive then finding JVs should not be too difficult.
For the less competitive niches, all you really have to do is ask people if they would like to JV with you. However, you have to ask the right way. The correct approach to asking a JV can be the difference between a 10,000 dollar launch or a 10.00 launch.
So you can do a Google search on your niche. Then write down the sites that come-up. Next try to find out a name for each site so that you can address each email personally. Then email the person who runs the site.
Introduce yourself and then tell them something you like about their site. Explain why you found it interesting and that you are interested in learning more. Here is the MOST critical point in seeking a JV. Ask them if there is something you can do to help the person out. Whether it is with graphics, writing, whatever you can do provide it shows good faith. Finally, if you have done the other things properly you will be able to tell them a little bit about your product and ask them if they would like to hear more about a Joint Venture with you.
That is how to get JVs in niches that are not too competitive. However, you need to take a slightly different approach on highly competitive niches.
In highly competitive niches you need to make yourself stand out from everyone else. There are hundreds of people who are looking for JVs in some of the most popular niches. So to stand out you want to approach potential JV partners and ask if you can do something for them. Whatever you might be good at, offer to help them with something that you are good at (creating a script, writing a blog, etc.).
Then once you do something for them, they will feel like they should so something in return. This is called the theory of reciprocity. What they may decide is something in return just might be a JV with you. Or, you might just develop a long-term relationship with a few people that will pay dividends for you far into the future (beyond just one Joint Venture).
Gathering JVs can be a difficult process. It really depends on whether the niche is popular or not. For non-competitive niches all you really have to do is ask for people but for competitive niches you have to make sure you stand out to people who you want to JV with you. These partnerships are a critical component of being successful with your online business.
